![]() ![]() As for the internals, there have been reports of problems, but I am not sure if this is a build quality thing that one would have to worry about wearing out over time. ![]() Picking it up, you can just tell that it is solid and would last a long time. All of the connections seemed well-reinforced. Headband is coated in a soft-touch type plastic that is nice and seemed durable. It is mostly plastic (only metal is in the headband adjustment) but it's thick, higher quality plastic that is clearly built to last. Unlike a lot of other Turtle Beach headsets, the build quality seems pretty damn good on these. TL DR: Like putting a plush sofa on your head that is also a python. After you stretch it out though, comfort may be the best part about this set. I would've stretched it out had I not wanted to return the set (more on that later) but out of the box, it has a death grip. However, the clamping force is pretty high to the point that I got headaches from using this set. Headband is well-padded and has a comfortable surface that didn't bother me whatsoever (and as a bald dude, this is important to me). They are lined with faux leather on the inside to lock in sound and I did find my ears started sweating after a few hours. Ear pads are cushioned with memory foam and have cooling gel in them and are super thick and soft. The first thought I had when I put it on my head was about how damn comfy it is. Made on mobile so probably bad formatting, sorry. TLDR's will be at the end of each section and overall at the end. I owned my pair for 3 weeks before returning them and had no noteworthy technical issues. Even a month after the release of the headset, I see a lot of people on here wondering about the Gen 2 series of headsets, so instead of me posting the same things in a bunch of threads, I'm going to share my experience with the Stealth 700 Gen 2 (for PS4).
